The story
Vigour started because most fitness apps feel like they were written for people who already live in the gym. The goal was simpler: structured sessions for the sport you care about, with enough guidance that you can show up tired and still execute a good workout.
Today that means rowing rate targets on the rowing machine, walk-run cues on the treadmill, and sensible load progressions in the weight room — all maintained by a solo developer who ships, supports, and listens to athletes directly.
We publish free workout guides on this site so you can read the full program before you install. When you are ready, the same structure lives in the app with coaching, logging, and reminders built in.

Rowing Machine Workouts launches with structured rowing programs — the foundation for everything that followed.

Treadmill Workouts and Exercise Bike Workouts join the lineup so indoor cardio stays guided, not guessed.
